I was sold a personal triaining contract for 3 times a week for six months and was to be training with the person who signed me up.
Since that time I am now on my 6th trainer. The person who signed me up has been fired and the company is now telling me that I am only to receive the training twice a month and for a year.
I never received a copy of my contract as the person who sold it to me had received a page from the gym's front desk and never returned to give me my copy. When I asked for a copy of it they told me they accidently sent the whole thing to the corporate office and a copy of it had been requested.
I have tried to contact their customer service line but it is a voice mail box and have left several messages with no return call. When looked up in the phone book the number listed is a fax machine. I was able to contact their billing company which is a collection agent but they were unable to help me with contract issues.
I am not the only person at this gym who has complained. After speaking with some other people who had used their services as well I have come to find out that there have been alot of other complaints. To the extreme that Golds Gym had a meeting with Beyond Fitness because customers were complaining to them too.
I used this same commentary to report them to the Better Business Bureau a week ago and am waiting for a response from Beyond Fitness.
