Refused refund, didn't work

The sensa crystal did nothing to help me lose weight. I did suffer from some nausea and headaches. So I researched online and found conflicting reports of others suffering similar effects and reports claiming there was nothing in product to cause them. So I called the company and asked for my money back using their 30 day "free trial." She refused to give me the money back, gave me tips to enhance the effectiveness of the product, and said she would extend the trial 60 days.
I did try another few times but saw no results. I called again and was told that I could not return because I was outside my 30 days. I said my trial had been extended. After an extensive hold on the phone, she came back and told me that my trial had indeed been extended but that I had not returned the product. I told her that I could not return the product without a code from the company and that was why I was calling. She refused to give me a code, let me speak to a manager, and insisted that I could not have my money back but that she would be happy to give me tips to improve my use of the product which would increase its effectiveness.
Even after I insisted that I did not want to use the product that may or may not be bad for my health but did not make me feel good or help me lose weight, she refused to refund the money that they had charged me for the product, $89.95 plus tax, but did agree to cancel any further shipments. She said that my only option was to take it up with my credit card company.
The credit card company, of course, would do nothing because they did not authorize the return, give me a return code, and finally because it was past 30 days after the charge.
So I am out over $90 for a product that did not do what it claimed, may be be for my health, and has an unresponsive, rude customer service representative that hangs up on you, puts you on endless hold, requires multiple calls, does not allow speaking to a manager, charges you for product during free trial, and refuses to give information needed to return product for a refund.
