BEWARE, this is a high pressure sales scam. I am a doctor and I scheduled an appt for my wife expecting to speak to Dr. Ferzaad Moosa, the eye surgeon himself to discuss details of the operation. When we arrived, a nurse named Paulo performed all the diagnostic exams on my wife's eyes. Then we were led to a room where we waited for Dr. Moosa. There was no Dr. Moosa. We were told that another "DOCTOR" was screening patients for Dr. Moosa. This was no docotor. THESE ARE OPTOMETRISTS, they are NOT surgeons or doctors as we think they should be. What I found out is that they give you a "FREE" consultation, only to say that you are "good" candidate. Then they ask you for a deposit, mind you, you haven't seen the surgeon, Dr. Moosa, who is gonna WORK ON YOUR EYES!!! They tell you that you will meet Dr. Moosa before surgery??? If you don't give them a deposit, then they tell you the price might go up. What I also found out is that the nurses and optometrists who see you MAKE A COMMISSION of each patient they enroll. Do you see where the "FREE" part comes in? There is no free. They have NO incentive to turn any patient down. That is, there is no such thing as a BAD candidate.in order for these scammers to recover their expenses for doing your "FREE" eye exam using those expensive machine, they have to try really hard to sell you something. Don"t trust this group. They have a book in the waiting room full of written testimonies. Who knows if they wrote those testimonies themselves. My impression of this group is that Dr. Moosa is working like a horse all day doing surgery, running from center to center, while his nurse/optometrists are bringing in the cattle. For the sake of your eyes, go elsewhere and do your research. I am a doctor, and I hate talking bad about my own, but this had to be said. Dr. Moosa is not in the top 10, anyone can make up an organization, call it what they want, then post it on the internet, and say these are the top 10 lasik surgeons. The top doctors in their field DON'T HAVE TO ADVERTISE, when you are in the top 10, your clientele comes from word of mouth.
