I saw a commercial on the television for Altovis which is produced by Berkeley Neutraceuticals and thought that maybe it would help me fight fatigue, so I decided to request a free sample for $4.95 shipping/handling... I was aware that they enroll you in a shipping program where every month or so they ship you out a new supply and charge your card and if you no longer wished to receive the supplement you had to go online and cancel.
I decided to cancel my subscription the day after I ordered and the only confirmation I got was a screen that came up that said i had successfully cancelled my subscription and I thought that was all I had to do. Well, a month later I found my bank account to be overdrawn due to a $70 purchase from Berkeley Neutraceuticals which was unauthorized. I was incredibly angry since I had cancelled in more than enough time and called their customer support. The woman was incredibly rude and told me that it didn't matter if I had refused the shipment and returned to sender that there were absolutly no refunds and that there was no record of my cancellation and said that I had no proof so there was nothing I could do about it - even before I had told her I didn't print out the confirmation screen.
I was incredibly upset and decided to research this online and contacted the BBB. It was only then that I realized that these pieces of excrement were operating no more than 5 miles away from my house and I had an exact address that I could go complain to. These people are cheats and liars and incredibly rude.
DO NOT purchase anything from this company - I have since found out everything they use is basically the equivalent of taking a multivitamin. I have confidential material from the company that I have obtained from an undisclosed source and the whole product line is a complete joke. This is just a warning, but of course no one reads these until it is too late. If you too are having problems, I will happily help you out and try my best to get your money back.
