I ordered a vitamin supplement on-line and paid the shipping charge with my check card. I followed the directions in the pamphlet that accompanied the vitamins to cancel my order.
Subsequently I found a charge on my checking account and called Berkeley Neutraceuticals - the company I ordered the vitamins from and the owner of the website I went to to cancel my order. I was on hold for 37 mintues. I was told they did not have my name in their data base and asked who charged my account. I told them Eight Squared and was advised that Eight Squared was a separate company and was given a phone number.
After being on hold for another long period of time, I was told that I had "ordered" the product from Eight Squared and had not cancelled my order correctly so they were sorry but could not refund my money because the product had already been shipped. The charge is being removed from my account, hopefully, after I fill out fraud/unauthorized charge documents from Visa.
