I ordered the Avlimil sample and it was only $4.00 for shipping and handling and I received it and never actually took it. Then a month later, I'd completely forgotten about it. And I checked my bank account balance online and it said I had $70.00 pending in my transactions and I knew I didn't authorize it.
I went through calling a 24 hour banking helpline and they de-activated my debit card and I had to go to the bank and figure it out. I thought that someone had access to my account.
So I went to my bank and they found out where it was coming from and what number to call and it was Berkeley Neutraceuticals.
I called and IMMEDIATELY asked to speak to the supervisor/manager. I told him that I only made that purchase for the sample and I didn't want to be billed for 2 or 3 more months. He told me that in the fine print, it said something about a home delivery and when you get the free sample you automatically sign up for that.
Well, obviously I didn't see it and those weren't my intentions. So he told me that I would have to wait until I received the Avlimil, then send it back certified and then I would get my money back.
Well, I had called back becuase I realized that my account would overdraw, so I spoke to a representative this time and she was very rude with me, but they refunded half.
I have sent the Avlimil back and it says they have received it, but I haven't seen my other $35. Oo yet. Maybe by next week. I don't know.
Oh! And my bank also told me to get a paper mailed to me saying that they would cancel/get rid of my credit card info. And they told me that they can't do that unless I have some kind of a legal document saying they need to send me one.
How stupid!!!
