I signed up for southbeachdiet online. Immediately, I realized I had made a mistake. It happens. I realized my husband would not be able to participate because of his work situation. Within 3 minutes I canceled it.
Additionally, there were several references to a 7 day trial which was untrue. Yes, I did read the agreement. It said that you would be billed the amount at the end of 13 weeks. This was not true either.
The customer support person (Stephanie L.) got very snotty with me. "Didn't I read the binding agreement." Why did I do this or that?" Hey. We all make mistakes and it is not fair for them to take advantage of a mistake. Do you think I would have canceled it 3 minutes later if I hadn't realized I made a mistake?
I ask to speak with a manager. She argued with me about that. Finally, she said she would go consult with one. She left me on hold and came back with something like "her manager advised her to..." I never was allowed to speak to a manager.
