My husband and I joined Fitness Factory last year and a few months later, the gym closed. We had signed up for 2 full years each and paid in full. We received an e-mail notifying us of the closing of the gym and announcing that Fitness Works would be honoring all of our contracts so it was okay to just start going to any of their locations. So now it has been one year since our sign up date and Fitness Works is telling us that they were getting paid to honor the Fitness Factory contracts and that they haven't been receiving those payments for months. So, having only used 1 year of our 2 year membership, we are being told that Fitness Works will no longer honor our contract. I tried calling Fitness Factory's billing company to which they claimed to know of the agreement but did not handle any of the financial agreement between fitness factory and fitness works and will not refund any portion of our membership fees.
