Our Dental Laboratory was contacted by a woman by the using the name Diane Lee to fabricate a dental temporaries for her client. Of course, she needed them quickly and we settled on a fee and the restorations were fabricated.
When the restorations were ready to be shipped she gave us an address to ship them to as well as a FEDEX shipper # to bill the shipment to. She indeed received the product as promised, however left us with the bill.
At the time of shipment, we always ask for payment in full by credit card and she provided two numbers... Balance was too large and she had to use two different cards. DANGER, DANGER!
A month later both transactions were chargeback as she used someone's else cards fraudualently. A month after that Fedex billed us for the overnight shipper fee of $60!
This woman is good at what she is doing. She seems to have lots of credit card/shipper numbers at her disposal.
Of course we tried to contact her to no avail! I hate the fact that we have so little information on her and what little we did have (phone/email), she has disconnected. The address we shipped the restorations to was a hotel.
We were totally taken by a SNAKE. I know we will never find her, but possibly this might help someone else in the future.
