Millenium Network
"True Beauty" I thought I'd Just paid for the shipping of a trial teeth whitener, now they have taken almost $200 without my permission Chicago, Illinois

Several months back I signed up to receive a free trial of "White Glow" a tooth whitening gel. I had to enter my credit card details to pay the supposed $2.95 shipping and handling fee. Maybe one month later I received the trial pack - some parts were missing but I didn't do anything about it. It was free after all.

Turns out it wasn't all that free. A few weeks later I was checking my account transactions and found an account debit for approximately $70 by "WhiteGlow". I had not received any notification of there being further withdrawals so I immediately googled the company and found that this was a scam they were running and that a lot of other people had been taken advantage of as well. One of this other people suggested a website to email which enabled them to get their money back. This email was: [email protected]

This is what I wrote at the advice of the person who gave me the email address:

To Whom it May concern,
I am writing to cancel this 'trial' that I am apparently still paying for. I am also aware that your "company" is under investigation by the Florida Attorney General and will be contacting the police if I have ANY further charges. I would like a full refund for this product which I have never recieved and if this does not happen I will be contacting the police and the Attorney General. I am also in contact with several other people who have been "victims" of your scam and we are likely to take legal action if this is not resolved.
I would like a full refund by the end of this week or legal action will be taken,
Regards,

Surprisingly this worked and I received a full refund - Including the postage that I paid. I did not change account details as I didn't think they would be stupid enough to do it again.

Turns out i'm the stupid one.

A few days ago I got an email from "Millenium Network" thanking me for my order and today I found another bogus charge to my account for almost $90 under the name "Pure Beauty". I have sent them another email and will wait several days. However I think I would be very lucky for them to return the charges again. Hopefully having this email will help more of you get your money back.

This scam needs to be stopped. If anyone has had any luck getting their money back or even contacting these low lifes please post it on here.
