Almost 10 years ago I joined a program called Trim International. I gave them $4000 which guaranteed me a percentage of the sales they made on specific items. I received a few checks at first, and they were WAY smaller than I had been promised they would be.
Eventually the checks stopped coming. Several times I contacted them & they said that they had computer issues and that they would catch me up on my money they owed me. Still I received nothing. I called again and was told that they had to catch up on sales & once they did they would send me checks.
Still nothing. Now I can't even contact them. Every phone number I try has been disconnected. When I visit their website, the "contact us" page only shows a link to a page to sign up to be a distributor, and my computer warns me against going to that page because it doesn't have an up-to-date certificate.
I lost over $3500!!
