Paid $26.09 for prescription, charged debit card twice. Bank says CVS put 2 HOLDS on my acct

I bought 3 medications at CVS. The quantity was $26.09. I offered my bank card. CVS place a "Store" on my bill twice for that quantity. After I noticed it on my online bank record I named the CVS shop. I sent them a duplicate of the declaration for evidence. They stated they mightnot do something in the shop degree, and agreed to contact their corporate workplace. Main point here: the organization workplace is going to do nothing. Our lender claims this occurs constantly. Our lender claims they will need to watch for a solution from CVS to clean out among the $26.09 costs. They declare it typically takes 24 - 72 hours.

CVS employees wont recognize the Next cost to my consideration and behave like it never occurred. I am advised the shop doesn't have expert to complete something, it is a problem between banks. Our lender may do nothing until CVS informs them to credit me.

I believe this sums to robbery. I never approved $52.18! Our account was overdrawn and that I needed to use cash to protect additional products offered to my bank account.

I'll never utilize my bank card at CVS again, and after carrying out a little bit of study I Have unearthed that gasoline stations are achieving this also. It is a fairly frightening factor when you believe you have compensated one-price, but you could be billed any quantity. I'll purchase my medications from Walgreens or WalMart pharmacies later on.
