Complaint / review text:
I have read horror story after horror story about these thieving thugs and it truly seems we are powerless. My wife and I moved out of Las Vegas to the East coast and had been loyal members that never in missed a payment for well over two years. When we cancelled our memberships, mine was no problem but hers was still showing she had 3 months left on her contract because of a technicality with her upgrading her membership to include towel service about two years ago, they automatically re-enrolled her in a two year contract when she did this.
Now they are asking for everything short of our first born for 'proof' that we are living somewhere other than Nevada. My employer has provided proof of employment, we have presented housing leases, utility statements and these thugs find an excuse everytime of why it is not sufficient. My wife does not work and being that I provide financially everything is in my name; so they are demanding she start some kind of service in her name because our marriage license and all the aforementioned proof isn't sufficient for them to determine she is residing elsewhere... BS!!!
I can't say enough bad things about this organization! It's sad because the actual gym employees are great but corporate has ruined any positive perceptions I had of LVAC. The gym has low enough prices that it will always attract a ton of members and this diatribe really is futile but it is atleast cathartic. I will be moving back to Las Vegas in a few years and when I do I will make sure myself and my company do not in any way have any kind of participation with this disgusting, arrogant, misanthropic corporation. Thank you usacomplaints.com for giving, what LVAC would refer to as, peon's a voice! I will continue to evanagelize my hate for this company on your site and every other like it as well to my friends and family in Nevada. F#*k you LVAC!!!
