I worked for Lady of America for two years as a babysitter for their "toyland" babysitting. What a joke, toyland? The childcare room was cold, and any toys they provided were donated by clients! Lady of America cannot keep owners / managers.
I began with the company when it first opened, by the time I left - we went through two owners in two years! The employees at my center were adequate, although could have been better. However, the management did not care about their center at all. They never came into the gym to see how things were going. We went with a backdoor that was unlocked for approx. 3 months, no heat in babysitting, gas smells, etc.
The on site manager did mention this to the owner, but they would tell her just close put a sign on the door. Clients complained blaming the mgr on site, but they did not know that she had no support or resources — Did they know that she went on her own and purchased water for them???
Then, Lady of America has a bad habit of selling to somebody else and not letting their workers know!!! The workers just go in and find out somebody else bought it and they are OUT OF A JOB! Members find this out that way also. Lady of America could have potential if the buyers took care of their gym, provided suports for their employees. But they DON"T!!!
My advice: STAY AWAY and for those of you who want babysitting. Well make sure they keep it while you are paying. Because my center changed owners and will not have a sitting now!!!
