My father is 74 years old and is dying from Lou Gehrig's disease. He barely weighs 100 pounds, but was solicited by this company and gave them his credit card number. They now charge him a monthly membership fee and send him dvd's to lose weight. He has dementia as well and gets upset every time he receives these dvds and sees the charge on his credit card statement. My sister and I have POA. My sister contacted them to have them stop the charges and remove his name from their list, which they have refused to do. They recite their policy like a robot and do not respond to any personal appeal. This should be criminal. I don't even know where they are located and their website only has a phone number. I guess the next step is to contact the credit card company and dispute the charges.
Every other company that we have contacted to whom my Dad gave out his information has worked with us and been very understanding and professional. Not this company. They are rude and predatory! Beware!
