An unkown charge of $2.50 US appeared on my credit card statement from AMSLTDSUPPORT.com.
A follow up to this website connected me with a 'live chat' representative who kept insisting on me giving 6 digits of my credit number, my full name, e mail, and date of charge, otherwise they could not help me. I refused to give the info and contacted my credit card company to report it as fraud. The card company rep brokered a 3 way telephone conversation to a company called 24/7customersupport.com, where the service rep there claimed I subscribed to Lifestyledeals.com and have been charged $39.95 for a months subscription of weight loss pills. I am skinny. I do not need weight loss pills nor have I ever heard of lifestyledeals.com. The service rep, with the credit card rep listening in, said a refund will be issued within 10 -15 days. I have never used this credit card for on line purchases. How my information was retrieved and comprised is unknown. The credit card company immediately cancelled my card and issued a new one. There is obvious theft occurring here and information about this company must be spread, perhaps take it viral.
