Self Help Works (SHW) Tried to Cancel Product Same Day Purchase Made - Can't Cancel Being Charged

The company had posted a website that appeared to be a news station. I had looked up information about something I heard on the news and found a site that had the accounted the story. On the same site, I found a news woman reporting about two products, Colon Cleanse and Acai Berry and how she took the product and it not only made her feel better but also helped her lose weight. I was a little skeptical but upon further review I found sites that appeared to be legitimate where the product was being endorsed by Rachel Ray, Oprah, and Dr. Oz. The sites contained all their legitimate logos and appeared to be the official sites of these show hosts. This made the product seem legit to me so I placed an order for the trail.
I received a call almost immediately (maybe within 1 to 2 minutes) after placing the order and had someone confirm over the phone that the order had been placed. I was a little concerned over the unprofessional manner in which the confirmation took place but without making judgements, I confirmed. They tried to get me to purchase another product at that time and I said I was not interested in anything else.
My concern was growing so I continued searching online and found more information showing that there were several people with complaints. Many of the complaints were very similar. People not being able to cancel the order, not getting through to anyone on the phone, or being told the order was cancelled but still being charged for the product. And the worst complaint stated the sites were not legit and that the news person they had on the news site was just an actor. None of the web info they used to advertise their product was legit. Of course at this point I was really upset. I then received a call from the SelfHelpWorks.com representative. Again, not very professional over the phone.By this point I was fully aware of the problems with this company and told the rep that I actually did not want the product at all and that the order was a mistake. I was told that they could not cancel the product because they had already shipped it out. I knew that could not be possible since maybe a total of about 10 minutes had passed since placing the order.
I immediately told them that I actually preferred to cancel the product. They said that they could not cancel because the product was already shipped out. I asked them how they could possibly have shipped it already and they said they were very quick. The person sounded unprofessional over the phone and I was very uncomfortable. They told me to call back in a couple of days after I received the product and that I would be able to cancel at that time. I tried again to cancel during this call but was told there was nothing they could do.
I called again the same day to cancel the order and had trouble getting through on the phone. I finally reached someone who said they would cancel the order and that I should just send back their products once I received them.
To date, I have never received any products from either of the two companies. SelfHelpWorks.com is a parent company for LiveLeanForLife and several other companies under their umbrella. I have attempted to cancel both products with no success. I closed the bank account where one of the products was being charged in order to stop the payments from hitting my account every month. The other product was purchased on an American Express card and I have disputed the charged over and over. SelfHelpWorks.com has come back several times with various answers to my complaints stating I never properly canceled the product, I had to cancel online, and even if I cancel they will pursue the charges I have supposedly incurred.
I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney general in several states where they have a company address to try and get rid of this nightmare. To date I have been charged $100 on my American Express card and have a negative report on my credit report for over $120 for the Acai Berry. I have cancelled both products and still get charged. I have NEVER received any of the two products to date.
