I purcased a cntract at 24 Hour Fitness in Huntington Beach for $950.00 which included sessions wth a pesnal traier for a weigt lss program. Paid $150.00 down and gave tem my credit card authorization to take out payments. A few days later I fell and suffered a spiral fracture tomy foot. When I was able to return several months later I had moved to Rancho Mirage and reported to 24 hour fitness in Cathedral City.
I checked withthe Manager there who nformed e that my fitness sesions were all paid for on my visa Card and that I should begin coming to training. I attened 42 sessions of training with no bills for traiing and no complaints from ane here had been no invoices ever sent t my house for training an amonts had been deducte fom my Visa Card. As of this date (june 25, I came to fitness an my instructor, a vry professional an compitent trainer informed me I cold not train that my bill was not paid.
He entered my accunt in the system and it showed paid. He said owed $3000.00 to the club & refused to let me cntnue. He said the program they sold me was in three parts and my payments had been divided into thrree payments on each contract for a total of $3000.00 instead of the $1000.00 I believed I had contracted for. I phoned 24 Hour fitness at Huntington Beach and they said they had written it off even though they had never billed me.
At this time I am awaaiting copies of my accouint with them but I am not allowed any more training. My trainer told me that if I don't pay, they will take the money out of his salary. I am very upset over this matter.
