This is regarding an issue about a medical boot that I had received last year for a ruptured Achilles. My problem with this company called Sports Bracing USA wants to charge me $450.00 when I found out that the boot only costs at the most $187.00 from another company that I found on-line.
I spoke to a orthopedic surgeon and he even said that the boot is way over priced. At the time when the doctor ordered the boot I had no idea of its cost nor did I have the luxury to go out and shop for one with a dangling foot.
I feel that they are exploiting people by price gouging in the time of someone's medical needs.
