They charged me $180 for a wrist spica. It's a wrist splint with a thumb insert. I found them on the Internet for $20 to $40. When I searched on the Internet I found another report of them overcharging another person listed on usacomplaints.com. (That was from their Los Gatos office.) That is also how I found out about complaint.
If my doctor had told me to go buy one, I could have got it for $20. He just handed it to me and the bill came a month later. My insurance paid half, so I had to pay $90.
When I called Sports Bracing, they just rudely said "That's what the factory charges." Fat chance, it was made in Taiwan.
