Dr. David HazanDr. David Hazan, D.M.D., b. Eng./Orlando Oral Implant Center Dentist screwed/scamed us and our insurance co. He billed for services NEVER rendered

My son & I went to Dr. Hazan because he does it all, including sudation for my son, and pull a wisdom tooth for me. We both had appointments at the same, my son in one chair and me in the one beside of him.

The dentist made us sign a lot of papers, including taking a copy of my credit card, or in this case they were debit cards. I thought they were just taking a copy so if I wanted to charge for services, they would already have it on file. They ended up with not one, but two of our bank account debit cards.

This came about when they started to call in for approval on one of the cards, and I then told them if that was what they wanted the copies of my debit card and drivers license for, then I told them to put it on the second debit card. This is how they ended up with 2 of my bank debit cards.

They were charging my account before they even did anything. They also would not see my son, who was there due to a car accident, until they had put all the information for billing my insurance company into their computer system. They had more information on me than all our credit card companies, auto loans and mortgages put together.

They were real cons. They took an ex-ray of my tooth and of my son. The doctor then put the ex-rays up to look at them before doing anything, and at that very same time my son had a seizure. Even though my son was 27, it was the scarriest thing I've ever been through.

My son fell out of the chair and hit his head on the concrete floor and we all went immediately to his aid. We had to get him off the floor and back into the chair, then hold him down so he wouldn't hurt himself any more. It was not a eppi. Seizure.

I asked the doctor what he gave him, and he said nothing. I don't know, but my son later told me he gave him something. I don't know what.

The assistant called 911. When they arrived, they took him straight to the hospital, and I was not letting them go without me.

As the EMT's were pushing my son out the door, the assisant handed me two cards that I just threw in my purse as I was rushing out the door with them.

I did not know that what was on the cards was new appointment times for both of us. I never asked for new appointments, and I never asked her to.

The next day I called an attorney just to see if I had any rights to help pay for the medical bills, and they told me to ask the doctor about some kind of insurance that helps a patient with expenses, but it would amount to only about $500.00.

When I went by their office the next day, I made and appointment first for my son, then I asked the assistant about the insurance. I'm sorry, but I can't remember what kind of insurance it's called. As soon as I asked, her attitude changed 360 degrees.

She asked me who I had talked to and I told her the attorney's name. She told me I would have to ask the doctor, who was not in. I said, why can't you give me the information since you know. Her reply again was, you'll have to ask the doctor.

This went on and on with the same answer, and I was getting no where. I then asked her if she knew anything about a $100.00 charge to my checking account was for. She said it was for a no show charge. I said I never made another appointment, so how can there be a no show charge?

She then told me that I needed to leave, but I asked why they were being like that. She just said that if I didn't leave, she would have me removed from their office and waiting room, so I left.

I was so upset that I went down stairs to the lobby and cried. I have never been treated like that before. After about fifteen minutes sitting in the lobby, the assistant came down, looked at me and just grinned at me as if to say, I got you.

I called the next day and asked for copies of all the paper work that we had signed and the asst. Told me I would have to talk to the doctors attorney. I said why, I have a right to them. Again, you'll have to talk to the doctors attorney.

When I took my son there for his appointment I had made, we were in the waiting area, because their door was locked. After about five minutes the doctor came to the waiting room and told me to leave. I said what, why do I have too leave? He said have your attorney call my attorney. I said what. I don't have an attorney, so why are you acting like this. He said he had filed an injunction against me and if I didn't leave, he'd call the police to remove me.

I then went down stairs to wait for my son, and in just a couple of minutes my son is down in the lobby of the building saying that the doctor refused to treat him, and he had referred him to another doctor.

I chose not to continue with this new dentist, since he was referred by Dr. Hazan.

I called my insurance company and told them not to pay them anything, because he had not done anything on my son.

A month or so later, after I had taken my son to a new good dentist, I sent the claims in from the new dentist, and the reply was that there was no money left under the policy.

Yes, it's true, Dr. David Hazan had sent in claims for $7,480.00, for work he never did on my son. He lied and said he had done all this work on my son when in fact, he did nothing.

How can a professional, or supposedly a professional, lie, forge signitures, and make a claim for services that were never done. Never!

Beware, beware, beware! This guy is nothing more than a con artist. I intend to continue pursueing this matter untill this man get's reported to every agency I can think of. It's still so unbelieveable that a Dr. Would do something like that.

If you even consider going to The Orlando Implant Center to see Dr. David Hazan, I would Strongly suggest you do your reseach on him first. I can't speak for any other doctor's in that group, because I know nothing about anyone other than Dr. David Hazan. You might find you'll want to change your mind.
