Received product. Cancelled. Had 3 pre auths taken out thereafte

To whom this may concern:

I am writing to you to make a complaint about being ripped off. On Oct 30/08 I purchased a trial use of Acai Berry pills. Upon receiving the package 2 weeks later and much to my dismay, 2 weeks after that I received another package with a 60 day refill. (being charged to my credit card on Nov 16/08)

Upon opening that 2nd package, I read the note that explained I would continue to receive this product if not cancelled 15 days in advance. I paid for the 2nd batch and called right away to cancel. Thinking that was the end of it, I received my credit card bill the following month only to find I had been charged another $10.74 on Dec 30/08.

I called immediately and had them cancel as I had no idea what this for and I was not receiving any product. I was given a confirmation number at the point and thought that was the end of it until..

And another $10.80 was now charged to my credit card. (I did not look closely as I knew i had not purchased anything in that last month). One month goes by and I receive the next months bill, again only to find another payment charged in the amount of $11.30.

Now I am furious and call back again to let them know I had cancelled back in Feb and wanted it cancelled once and for all and demanded another confirmation number. I did this on March 19/09.

Now I am out this money and my credit card company will not reimburse me and I want my money back. It was taken unauthorized and like so many others, I have had to cancel my credit card.

I do hope that with one more complaint you will be able to put these scam artists out of business once and for all..
