A $28,000 Machine with warrany and I'm doing repairs myself?!

After coming into my shop this morning and having the touch screen not working again, I got online to find out if there had been anyone else with problems with the Spa Capsule from Simulated Environment Concepts. As I read the 3 reviews here, I knew I had to write. All 3 have the same things that I have been going through.

My 1st experience was with the delivery, as Anthony in South Carolina wrote. There were 2 delivery guys, one couldn't speak English and the other one was very broken at best. They didn't even have the tools to unpack the crate!!! They had to go rent a forklift to get it off the truck and then left it outside in the freezing snow. I called the company because I thought they were supposed to unpack it. The two delivery guys ended up coming back 2 hours later to unpack it with nothing but a crow bar!!! The tech finally showed up in the afternoon to set everything up.

John the tech was very nice. He even left is cell phone in case of problems. I was very excited to have my machine up and running. He said that the unit should be warming up within the next 24 hours and left. 24 hours went by and the unit never warmed up. I have now personally replaced the temperature sensor 3 times and once with a tech that showed up to move the unit&that's a total of 4 temperature sensors!!!

I had to change locations from one town to another and had to pay a fee of $800 cash to have my unit moved. They wanted me to pay for lodging and air to get the tech out to move it. I found it wierd that I had to pay cash from a business to a business.

After it was moved to the new location, it has not worked properly. (It was moved in November). The canopy is chunky and grinds. I've called customer support since November and they keep telling me that they will send someone out and I've not seen a soul. However, I have gotten several sales calls to buy a new one, even though I'm also supposed to have a 20 mile exclusive right as Craig in Colorado Springs reported. Also, since the move, I've had to replace the touch screen.

When it was moved, I got the same paperwork as Anthony aoub the ground fault breaker. I too spent the $135 for a 30 amp GRB which was not needed. I had the exact same reply.

Now as far as the GE Money Bank, as Bonnie in Kempner, Texas wrote, I was to have 0 interest for one year with no payment on a lease program. I too have this in writing. I ended up with a credit line from GE Money bank for $30,000. My first payment of $660 was due last month. Way above and beyond the $480/month for 4 years! There was a $4,000 interest payment that was tacked on and over limit fees added!

I am VERY dissapointed. I was hoping that this woud be the answer to our slow business and I would really like a full refund and the machine out of my life! I am interested in a class action lawsuit, if anyone else wants to join.

By the way, to search on this site, type in Simulated to get the other reports.
