I too was a victim of searchvitamins. I decided to try their product. Risk free, just as their add stated.
They claim all you have to pay is shipping therefore you have to provide a card number so they may charge you... Well their agreement states you have to call and cancel in order to avoid further charges. Ok i get that..
Here's the problem i have as well as others. I placed the order and was charged for shipping. Waited to recieve product for over three weeks. I thought like most. Get the product with paperwork enclosed / invoice receipt then call and cancel after receipt of product. While waiting for product they charged me 89.31.. I did not know this till i called my automated checking on bank.
After recieiving bank statement, which has their toll free number. I call company and ask for explanation. They confirmed the product was shipped on december 1st but they charged me for the 89.31 on november 24.. They refuse to refund my money nor would they confirm that they do not give customer ample time to recieve product before they are charging them again. Mind you for the additonal product which i have not received..
In short they are taking money from customers before they even know or have a chance to respond..in fact have not even recieved trial product before they are charging you for additonal..
I too had to cancel bank card to keep them from future charges. As they are unreasonable and misleading..
I am currently unemployed with no new income coming into this account so by them helping themselves to my money. I no longer have christmas money for the children. Thanks searchvitamins
