I received a phone call for getting a free product to try a facial cream and pay only $1.99 for shipping charges. I agreed to the $1.99, received the product not knowing how much the product cost per month, did not like the product and called to cancel the order before the expiration of the trial period. This company then proceeded to charge my bank account on two occasions, once in December (which I never received the product that month) for $76.93 - then 20 days later they charged my bank account another $76.93 for the product of which I did receive that one. I immediately called them and told them that I had cancelled this order before the trial period was over - I was sick with pneumonia in December and did not notice that the charges were taken out. The bank credited the one charge and I returned the product and the company credited my bank account for the one returned less the shipping. I had to pay $7.00 to ship that one back plus they did not refund my shipping to my account either. The bank sent me a letter stating they are going to take the money back out of my account since the company credited me - there were two not one so at this point I still am out the shipping and so I returned the one they sent for trial yesterday and paid another $7.00 for that return.
