In October I saw where Trinity Medical Solutions was selling/buying medical devices on ebay. I needed to sell some items as I was closing my business. I contacted them and completed an agreement to sell equipment on consignment with them.in November, Matt Carns called me and said he had a shortage of the unit I was selling and could he just buy it outright from me. I was selling the $2500 item for $1800 and Matt offered me $800, cash on the spot. I told him to forget it. All of December, he kept calling me, several times a week, upping the price, until he gave me his final offer of $1100, shipping included. I decided to just sell it to him to get him to quit calling me.
Imagine my surprise when I went to the UPS store to ship the item with the account number I was given by Brian Hardy was declined. When I called Brian, he said they were in the process of changing credit cards so maybe that was the problem. So I agreed to pay for the shipping and they would reimburse me with my check which they would have to me by the end of the week. This was early January.in February, I realized that I still hadn't received my check. I called Brian and he said he would have to check with his accountant, but his records showed that they sent the check. I called a week later because I hadn't heard back from him. He said he would call back later that same day. Still no call. I didn't this for several weeks.
Eventually, I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. This at least prompted a call from Matt Carns in May, stating that he was sending the check the next day. To date, (November), I still haven't received that check. I filed a complaint with the internet fraud people in August, but still haven't heard from them. I am going to contact the local sheriff's department and look into filing in small claims court.
When I found this website, my heart stopped. I realize my $1100 is nothing compared to the tens of thousands of dollars Trinity Medical has ripped off of people. I will get in touch with the others to file a class action suit. Trinity Medical should have been shut down by now. What kind of unethical people are they that they can still be in business? I only hope others find this website and we can all come together to ensure that scammers such as these aren't allowed to remain in business.
