Vein Clinics of America-Poor Results Misrepresentation of procedure, negative results, contraindications & health risks

Company advertising and in-person consultations misrepresent actual procedure and results. Permission/consent forms inadequately describe procedure, negative results, health risks and contraindications.

Non-existent follow up care. Had to call Vein Clinics Customer/Consumer Advocate who then arranged a no-cost-to-me follow-up appointment to access condition of veins, staining of skin and prior treatment. Although consent forms state otherwise, doctor at second location for Vein Clinics of America recommends no further treatment due to very poor results; staining and the appearance of numerous spider veins which was not there prior to treatment.

False diagnosis on medical record. Diagnosis does not match consent forms or treatment record.

Improper and ill-advisement regarding expectations through written documents, doctor, nurse and staff consultations and conversations.

Misquoted fees and over-charged; $2,300 for treatment on one leg. Company refuses any form of compensation, total or partial refund for poor results, poor office practices, ill-advisement, and missing my veins several times which not only caused extreme pain at the time but can cause ulcers to form at the injection sites. A dilution solution was injected to counteract these bad injections but I was never told that it happened. I discovered this when my medical records were reviewed by another specialist.

Vein Clinics of America is still advertising in local Sunday newspaper advertisement; most recently today, 9-7!
