The Scooter Store just won't stop! The are liars and commit insurance fraud! I see they have the BBB logo on their website when they should not have, not when they are ripping people and insurance companies off.
One month after receiving my chair, it needed repairing and they charged Medicare for it when it was still under full warrenty and now that the contract on my chair has expired, I can't get another one because of the new Medicare contractor!!!
The Scooter Store has robbed me of ever getting another chair from a different mobility company and I am suffering for their rip off.
5 years ago, Medicare supposedly told The Scooter Store to bring a whole brand new chair to me, they did not, they only replaced everything but the frane of my chair.
Now with my Spinal Stenosis, it takes me forever to walk from point A to point B and having lost everything to my ex-husband, I have no way of paying for a new chair out of pocket!
Medicare even wants to see if I can manage a manual wheelchair. Medicare is in no position to make medical decision for people who are on Medicare. They don't have that right.
It is very depressing not being able to go out and have fun with family and friends, to college, (not yet, but hopefully next semester), and to do things around the house freely.
