They will bend over backwards. To take your money from you

Came to Next Level with my fiancee due to a co-workers recommendation, at fist the experience was good but we quickly found out we were wrong. They will do and say whatever it takes to get your money from you, bend the rules, breach contract, whatever it takes. But as soon as you have a complaint about service, or being over charged all of a sudden they bounce back to the very same contract they breached many times to get you to sign up and give them money.

They wanted one debit per month for the charges, we explained that we could do 2 debits bi-weekly and they said That's not how our contract works but we can work it out for you! So they did, 2 weeks into service we let our trainer know that we had previously planned a 10 day vacation to Seattle, WA. And that we were not going to be able to make the last two weeks of the month due to that, he said he understood and that not only would we not get charged for those sessions but that we could make them up the next month (also not in the contract.

We returned from vacation and had a few big financial emergencies and had no choice but to cancel our personal training seeing as how it was the lowest priority on our list of bills to pay, the contract says you must cancel two weeks in advance through e-mail however I called the owner of the company and asked if it would be ok to cancel over the phone because it was the deadline and I wasn't near a computer, he said No problem at all! We'll get you the money back for the last charge and cancel the next charge. So we get confirmation 4 days later that the last two weeks of the month, plus the accidental charge we incurred for June (which we had already canceled) would be refunded, 3 weeks later we get an e-mail stating We accidentally over-refunded you and re-charged half of the amount Ok but they just went ahead and did it instead of asking us which resulted in both of our accounts being overdrawn.

I sent an e-mail and complained also asking for invoices proving we owed that money, after 2 days and countless e-mails and phone calls I FINALLY got the invoices, I looked them over and they had charged us for the last two weeks of the month (we were out of the state mind you) when I called back to discuss this issue, all of a sudden Well you pay up front if you don't use the sessions we don't refund you, that's up to you to take care of and be here for I explained to him that his trainer told us we wouldn't get charged and that we could make up the sessions, he proceeded to tell me that's not how their contract worked and he did that out of courtesy on his on will. I said But he works for YOU so he has to abide by the same contract. He agrees but says there's nothing he can do about that, I confront him about breaching contract and why is it ok for him to do it, but not me to do it?

Next Level claims they never breached and were only following policy and what we signed in the contract, yet they went against it charging is twice a month, not once, letting us make up sessions and not just losing them. I told him I didn't think it was fair to pay for services I never received which he responded Well I pay the trainers up front I just can't take the money out of his pocket I laughed and told him that it's ridiculous for me to pay for something I never received and for the trainer to get paid for something he never provided, of course he sides with the trainer.

He then proceeds to complain about how he bent over backwards to accommodate us and that they Never bill twice a month and Never do the things they did for us, once again I chuckled and told him that HE is the business owner NOT ME, and if HE wants to make those decisions that's on him NOT ME, I never forced him to make changes to his contract nor did I expect him to. When he gave me a different price then quoted I told him never mind, once again he NEVER changes rates but did it for us. It's all a load of BS, all of the NEVERS that came out of his mouth are just lies, they do that stuff all of the time because our mutual friend has the same rates as we did and went through the same NEVER NEVER FOR YOU NOW BUT NEVER NEVER speech.

Next Level Fitness will go above and beyond to get you in the door and get your wallet in their hands, they have a 200% money back guarantee if you aren't satisfied, however when I wasn't satisfied I was given no refund. They will tell you whatever you want to hear bend all sorts of rules they never bend and con you into giving them your money. Once you want to leave the gym, they will charge you for anything they can just to get that extra cash out of your pocket. I was blown away that I was expected to pay for services I never received and for a trainer to keep money he never earned. I got very heated and told him that I did not need to explain my financial history with him and that we had to cancel due to an emergency, he didn't care he just got very co*ky and told me that it's not his fault I had to cancel and he shouldn't have to pay for it, I said the same thing, of course I'm wrong right?

Not only should you stay away from this place, but get in your car, your bike, your feet, whatever you have, and drive, pedal, and run away as fast as you can from this low-rent training facility where from the time we were there from the time we left, 2 broken treadmills, 1 broken stationary bike, old equipment with no grips, extremely cramped areas, and so many people that half the machines you needed were being used. This place is nothing more than a glorified garage gym with people who work you out with the most SIMPLE exercises you wouldn't believe. I go to the gym and can do everything he taught me in 2 weeks easily without slipping, running, abs, strength training. It's all calisthenics and none of it is hard to learn nor worth paying over $300 a month for.

Take your money somewhere more reputable, somewhere that wont screw you out of your money, somewhere that wont sweet talk you into giving your money to them and then turn around and treat you like S on the ground because you are unhappy with the service. Next Level facility, management, accounting staff, and over all experience is the worst I've ever been through. I will stick with Bally's from now on and never look back, myself and my fiancee strongly advise you find and research a better facility for your money. And a strong lesson learned, never, ever, ever, ever give out your debit card information to a small business. They will use and abuse it until they can get as much money as possible from you and then tell you to screw off.
