Rick Connie Vrenios practiced poor ethics at Reiki Council falsely stating an injury was resolved in Chicago BBB complaint 94145268 799 Roosevelt Road Building 4, Suite 001, Glen Ellyn, Geneva, Villa Park, Geneva, Villa Park

I've waited nearly a year for either Connie Vrenios or Rick Vrenios to return the money they stole from me for trusting them in June. They have not and as such clearly demonstrate a decided lack of professionalism or business ethics which is interesting because their website at http://www.reikicouncil.com/classes.htm states they teach massage therapists Ethics Classes

The Chicago BBB report errantly states the case is resolved and that I refused an offer made by Rick Vrenios and or Connie Vrenios. They said they were going to and never did, then claimed I refused it despite an obvious conflict in timing.

Last entries in the Chicago BBB complaint are as follows:

02/21 - It has been nearly a month since the last post made by the BBB on January 25; and the recipient of that letter is unclear though I have not received communications from the BBB since January 22. The business has not responded to me since, but the dispute was decided by the credit card company. It should be noted that the business: 1) was awarded most of my $2000 downpayment provided for a loan the business agreed to submit but did not; 2) claimed money for books returned like new and in excellent condition; 3) charged me for a free student massage; 4) claims to have resolved an injury not treated by the business; 5) falsified transcript hours; 6) made numerous false accusations about me that were not proven, some of which I was able to clearly disprove though others are outright lies that cannot be proved or disproved. The business has yet to prove they acted appropriately toward me as a student in the massage program at The Sanctuary School, or as a member of their Reiki Council's Inspired Living Community which the business heavily emphasized during classes. Because the business abused this medium by making a mockery of this resolution attempt, it seems there is no further reason for this complaint to remain open. This issue was not resolved satisfactorily.

02/26 - Bureau judged complaint resolved.
