I too visited the Roswell Emergency Care Center. I did not get bills for month. Then when I got the bills they were wrong. A year later, I no longer have the same insurance, and the Roswell Emergency Care Center is no longer open. They finally got around to billing me what they think is the corrected amount. The problem is its about 75% too high per Blue Cross Blue Shield. I too was told they take BCBS, but in reality they do not. They submit the info but are not contracted.
In looking at my bill details, they charged me $65 for the little thing they stick on your finger to get your pulse. It takes 3 seconds, and is required before you go back. I was also given influenza, strep and other tests that I know were not performed.
On one visit, I was given 1 shot, and my bill too was $437 (seems to be a magical number). On the bill details, it shows 2 pills were also given at $25 a pop. I too would be willing to join a suit against these folks. They are super fraudulant, and they I feel purposely waited until over 1 year to get the billing *fixed* as most folks cannot remember what or what was not done on a vist that long ago.
