I am a 22 year old female that wanted a slight cosmetic improvement on my nose. Little did I know that the next few months of my life would be a living hell. Richard Ellenbogen completely destroyed my nose and face. Because of what he did, I had to endure an expensive and difficult revision.
I found Richard Ellenbogen of Beverly Hills Body while he was featured on Dr. 90210. Thinking he was a renowned Rhinoplasty specialist, I went to consult with him. Richard Ellenbogen's office was dirty, while his demeanor was pompous, eccentric, and questionable for a doctor. Even with these "signs", I was blinded by his self-proclaimed fame and supposed reputation / experience of being the best rhinoplasty surgeon.
I had my primary rhinoplasty with him in May. I was told that he only operated on the tip of my nose. The days after the surgery, my family and I were in complete and utter shock. My face was deformed and my nose was MUTILATED and chopped off.

At my one month post-op, I questioned Richard Ellenbogen and his assistant Babak Dadvand and was instead ignored and rushed out of the office. I refused to leave without an answer and was eventually lied to by both doctors. They claimed that the deformity was caused from swelling and would soon heal. I also wanted to know what was done during my surgery and was again ignored. Out of frustration and confusion, I cried in his office. He then walked out and went to attend to his other "potential" patient. This was the second time he and his staff had done this to me.
Feeling betrayed and helpless, I consulted with several other rhinoplasty specialists only to find out that Richard Ellenbogen and Babak Dadvand had completely lied about the entire procedure. Every surgeon that I went to was shocked at my awful results from him. They all told me, according to my surgery report, Ellenbogen did MAJOR work, breaking my bridge bone and bone under my eyes. He did this WITHOUT my permission. My bridge was left twisted and very jagged. My entire nose was completely upturned and flattened. My tip was crooked, collapsing, and over shortened.
After several months, I was finally able to have a costly and difficult revision. My revision surgeon informed me that he had to reconstruct my ENTIRE nose because Ellenbogen had destroyed it from top to bottom. There was nothing supporting my tip so it was deflated / flat. Richard Ellenbogen also left a large piece of random plastic on one side of my tip which was about to POP OUT of my skin!!! I have scars left on my nose from the plastic pushing out. My revision doctor said that he had no idea what was left in my nose and was surprised that I did not get extremely ill. Ellenbogen literally left a random piece of plastic in my nose without any regard for my health.
Richard Ellenbogen and Babak Dadvand do not deserve to be practicing. Throughout the past year I have spoke with numerous victims that have also had their lives and faces ruined by Ellenbogen. I only went in for minor surgery and this man, Richard Ellenbogen, stole my youth. He has no regard for his patient's heath or concerns and is instead motivated to continue his disreputable work through pure greed and arrogance.
