I started off by just selling the machines for extra cash. I was bamboozled into becoming a dealer-big mistake! I was told that I had to buy multiple success kits (which I did), 2 separate websites, 2 800 numbers, promotional materials, and sales leads. The sales leads alone were $300, and that was maybe 3 or 4 leads. I was told that I would have support from my sales manager but at the scheduled conference calls, she was never available.
The machines are very very expensive-and broke down often. I would have to loan my new machines to my customers who had broken machines-it was one problem after another.
To sum up my experience with Ecoquest-it's similar to a cult. You are brainwashed into thinking that you'll be independently wealthy, driving a free car, and living mortgage free. But in reality-you're scamming other people, who most of the time, are as desperate as you are for money, and going into further debt. When I finally gave up and realized that I had made the biggest mistake of my life, I was 40K in debt because I had run up my credit cards for the success kits, sales leads, promotional items, websites, 800 numbers, seminar fees-and had to file bankruptcy.
Words of advice-if you are heartless and ruthless, go for it. If you have no heart or empathy for others, this business if for you. You will convince others to create a dream of becoming independently wealthy-and take their money. Bottom line-Ecoquest is a SCAM.
