Kroger pharmacy hands out flyers listing and advertises in stores about 200 medications (generic versions) that they sell for $400 per perscription. When my wife caught the flu she went to our doctor, taking the list so he could fill any needed meds from thier supplied list. When we arrived at the pharmacy they stated that these items had over the counter equivilents at anywhere from 3to4 times advertised $4.00 cost. So they would not fill (they had no answer to why these meds were on list since they had been available over longer than the list was in existence). We called our doctor to ask him to call in different meds that had no otc couterparts and these were rejected as no longer available. We left the store went accross the street to walmart and filled them under our insurance.in my opinion, if we had no insurance we probably would have purchased the higher cost items after being ployed in by thier fraudulent advertizing, please investigate this or forward to someone who can since this seems like another co. Taking advantage of the less fortunate. Think of all the people without ins. Being drawn in by this!
