I responded to the free trial offer (for my wife) and after 5 days, she found she gained two pounds and asked me to cancel the offer.
I called and was told (by Charlene) that she would cancel, however, the next shipment may have been sent. When I protested, saying this was a 15 day offer and we only had the product for 5 days, she told me they count the days from the date I ordered.
She told me I ordered on Nov 17, and it was now Monday December 3rd. I said even by her count, it was only 16 days, and I could not call on the weekend.
She checked and said the next shipment was already mailed on Saturday Dec 1, and the shipping dept was open on Saturdey.
When I protested and told her I was returning the product, she said they do not accept returns unless I was ordering a different product. I told her I would never order anything from them.
At any rate, my pills arrived on Monday, Dec 10, and the package was mailed on Monday Dec 3, not on Saturday Dec 1.
I will contact my credit card company and refuse to pay, but I am not sure how best to return the product. After reading the other scam letters, I suppose it would be useless to copy Oprah on my letter. I did, however, contact "7on line", which is a consumer ripoff reporting site in the New York area. I have not heard from them as yet. I did not realize there were so many Hoodia suppliers.
