It comes down to "let the buyer beware." I though I did my research but apparently not well enough. I wish I new about this site!!!
BBB has NOTHING - no complaints - about National Home Trainers (NHT). I thought well they have been open since 2005. I want to work out with them and establish a routine. This sounds like what I need.
Well the first trainer was okay. But as trainers go she wanted to persue her goals and I requested a different trainer who was wonderful. Since the first of October I've been working out with him. Noticeable results, hard work (me complaining a bit too who wouldn't at 5:00 am! Reliable. Things were finally coming together. Then last Friday (yes after Thanksgiving I was really try to change my life) he didn't show... Any call no anything very uncharacteristic. I called him Monday morning. His number had changed. Hmm.
I called NHT nothing. Then Tuesday the posting on the Website. Ugh. Yet at the bottom of the note customer's trainers look for a note from us. I never have received a separate email from National Home Trainers.
First I needed to stop the debit payments. I called my bank and got a new debit card. Yes now it's the holiday time and I can't shop. Then I started added up what I paid and how many sessions I have remaining. I'm out some bucks. (More than 11 sessions!)
I started looking up information on the Attorney Generals Office. It was very confusing and today I called. I discovered that the first step is to file a complaint in the state you acquired service and in California. It is important to get this done before/if they file bankruptcy. (According to people smarter than me. Not sure how true this last statement is nationally.)
Hope this helps. The bad part is now I'm not working out at all. A new regime next week!!!
