After being told that this is one of the best plans available, backed by the BBB, etc., I found out how much crap this really was.
The first time I tried to use the discount vision plan, my doctor explained to me that it would cost $14 more to use the discount than it would cost as a walk in customer.
The next time was when my MD's co-pay was $20 more than it would be if I had no program.
I called and asked for an explanation, was told that my doctor was a great man since he treated people without any health program for less.
No explanation for the higher cost of lenses, glasses. It must have been something I did.
I asked for a refund, was told no, refunds can only occur after a year with proof that the plan did not save me any money.
I had my bank to put a block on the account for CHBA so they cannot take any more money.
Now what?
