I noticed on my bank statement that shopping essentials withdrew 14.95 from my checking account without my authorization. I called the company and spoke to Martha ID # 151371 who told me that when I ordered vitamins on line that I was automatically signed up for a 30 day trial with shopping essentials. I canceled the membership and asked when my refund would be entered to my checking account. Martha stated that my charge was still pending so it won't even go through.
I stated to Martha that there are several accusations of fraud by shopping essentials and her response was "I know".
Shopping Essentials is debiting accounts without approval, but the websites that we are purchasing items on line are also deceiving their customers. I purchased vitamins from Vita Cost one time, and that will be the last time that I order from Vita Cost.
