Mega Life and Health (and the rest of the other names they fall under. Blackstone / UICI / Mega / HMAMG / AMG / UGA / Health Markets). Don't fall for their junk. Here is the deal. When you sign up they will tell you to pay $250 to join (what?) then if you leave their horrible company before a year is up because your conscience will not allow you to work for them any further, they hit you with huge charge backs. This, all the while you will spend a fortune on bought leads because the leads they provide you with are anywhere from 1-4 years old. Folks, never work for a company that tells you that you have to pay money to join them. REAL insurance companies do not do that.
Check out Fortis, they are a REAL insurance and actually pay claims. How about just going to work for a company that sells supplemental insurance like Colonial? There are so many good companies that you don't need to waste your time and money on rip offs like MEGA (Health Markets / UGA / NASE).
By the way, NASE (National Association for the Self Employed) is just a guise to sell insurance. Their intent is not to sell benefits or a membership but rather the insurance and that is illegal if you know the insurance laws. Because they have great lawyers they got around this by offering a membership. Go check out why this company has more complaints than any other in any state.
