I have been a working nurse for 25 years and paid disability premiums to NSo I was disabled officially by social security dec 200 and continued to pay my premiums up until july. I then began what I thought was a process to obtain my disability payments of 1000 month from Nso. I notified them early in 2001 that I was disabled. I have sent the doctors signed statement even a copy of my medicaid card work history etc. No money.
My last call after not hearinf from them they tell me I might be ineligble because I stopped paying premiums in july after I became disabled and notifed them. I have done all I can do paperwise. Someone told me 3 weeks ago it was being processes. They had all the info. The next call I made the lady said not so.
Any RNs LPN out there dont waste money paying these premiums. They will not pay. Its like saying a dead person needs to keep on paying life insurance after they are deceased to collect on your policy. Nurses work hard and deserve better!
