I just got off the phone talking with one of your c/s reps. As I told him, I got lured into buying your sample offer for $4.95 that included a bottle each of CortiBan Ultra and MUltiMaxx plus a free video. This was an offer through one of those take a simple survey for a free gift SCAMs, as I later discovered. It was offering a free bathtub handle to help the elderly get in and out of the tub. Yes, I am over 70 and I had knee surgery not long ago and yes I need the handle that attaches to the tub to help me get in and out. So for $4.94 I would get the handle and also get to let my wife (who's a little chubby) try a weight reducing stuff and I get the handle. So I signed up. No sooner than I put the check mark at the head of your offer, it went on to other offers and I DID NOT get to see any of the terms and conditions, or your company web site or anything else about your product that the rep mentioned.
After he told me that, I looked up your website, for the first time just a minute ago, and deliberately looked for your Terms & Conditions. It was in fine print and very hard to find. Firstly, there was no mention in your T&C about any 25% restocking charges for returned merchandise. 2ndly, if there IS a 25% re-stocking fee, it should apply to the $4.95 that you charged for the samples and NOT to any other amount. 3rdly, there is no mention of any 15-day trial period as mentioned by your rep that I must return the bottles. Your Home Page is quite clear that $4.95 pays for the 2 sample bottles period. There was nothing indicating any additional charge to my account for $69.95! I made copies of your website including the tabs and your T&C and challenge you to disprove what I said in this paragraph.
Where do you get off deceiving, misleading and tricking the public, especially the elderly? Now that you got my credit card number, you think you can just charge anything you want to it at will? The $69.96 is NOT an authorized charge; therefore, it is an Internet fraud. I am not only posting this email on the usacomplaints.com.Com for whole world to see, I am also filing a complaint with the FTC and the Offices of the Attorney General of your and my states and your UK office. If and when my bank confirms a full refund of my $69.95, I will re-post that you have done so on the BBB site. It does not however, excuse your deceptive business practices. You may think that you have $69.95 of my money, but I promise you, it will cost you a lot more than that if you try to keep it.
As I said in my previous email to you, you may have a good product, but because of the sneaky way you do business, charging me $69.95 without my consent, and being associated with the survey scammers, you left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will no longer try your products and will feel obligated to warn others against doing business with you.
