I signed up on lookdog.com to get what I thought was a chance to get a Dell computer. I completed the two offers on the page they sent me thinking that was the end of it. One of these offers was a FREE sample of Ultraburn PM with only the shipping billed to my cc.
After receiving and trying the product for the trial period and seeing NO results. I called the toll free number printed in microscopic numbers and cancelled the offer. What do I receive in the mail a short time later but a full bottle of their product which is billed to my CC.
I called AGAIN to cancel and was told I needed to go online to the website and cancel the auto ship with a code number apparently given out only on request. I did this and also cancelled the extra program they automatically had signed me up and billed me for without my permission!
Guess what, I just got another bottle of this product in the mail and another bill on my CC! SO this time I called them, asked to speak to the supervisor, gave her my info. Cancelled with her over the phone again. I also told her I was filing a complaint with the Utah BBB against the company and filing a report here. She assured me that a clerical error was to blame.
We will see, at any rate I also called my cc company and submitted a complaint and asked them to give me a refund and refuse to allow any more charges from this company. We'll see if all of these actions help. If it happens again, I'm going to file a complaint with the Utah Attorney General as well as the ND Attorney General. I was told that is a good step to take as well in shutting down a scam.
