Decided to purchase a 7 day trial of Lean Life PM-a natural fat burner, for $1.99 shipping and handling. Two weeks later I had a debit charge of $97.41 on my bank statement-a couple days later I received a package with 3 bottle of Lean Life PM.
I called the number on my bank statement to find out what they were doing. They said I had agreed to a subscription, I said I had not, and wanted them to refund my money to no avail. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told there wasn't one, the girl was very rude, and I ended up hanging up. I went to there websight to see if I had missed something on the ad. There was nothing that I could see on the ad that disclosed anything about a subscription and even took a copy of the web sight for my bank to examine. Then I noticed in tenny tiny letters at the very bottom of the websight a lisence agreement, and of course when I clicked on that I found the information regarding a subscription. I was very angry that they didn't have the information visible but hidden and called them back. I has put on hold forever and once again treated very rudley. A lot of laughing going on ect. Anyway I was able to cancel my subscription, and told I would not receive my money back altho I had returned there product to them certified mail.
I notified my bank of what happened and have a claim pending now with them, not sure of results yet. But meantime...
A month goes by and I get my new bank statement. There is a new charge from a company called E curves a they have debited my account for $28.97. I call to find out what these charges ar for I am told for consultation, that I suposedly signed up for when I accepted the 7 day trial of Lean Life PM, they said theres was also a subscription and would not refund my money. I went back and check the websigt and no where do they disclose that they will be giving your banking informnation to another company to debit your account for Ha Ha consultation. I had to cancel that subscription also along with my debit card. I am very concerned now with any idenity theft that might go along with all this. I have put in a second claim and a complaint to the BBB. These people make me very sad, sooner or later this will come back and bite them in the butt.
