I am completely appalled reading the other postings about how many people Lean Life PM has actually ripped off! I have a similar story.
I got an e-mail for Lean Life PM with the internet offer of $6.95 shipping and handling for a free bottle. I, at the time, thought this sounded like a good offer and proceeded to order the product.
Two weeks later there was a charge on my bank statement for $99.90 after NEVER receiving the product at ALL! I called them NUMEROUS times to see how I could remedy the situation. All I got was answering machines with no call backs. I wrote numerous e-mails as well, with no response. Finally, I reached someone and they were VERY rude to me stating that I should have read the fine print better and that if I returned the product un-opened I could get a full refund. The customer service representative was VERY unprofessional and rude. I tried to explain to her that I had never RECEIVED the product and that I was under the impression that I was just ordering a sample bottle, not a 3 month subscription. She continued to talk down to me and said that if I returned the product I would get a refund and then basically hung up on me.
Two weeks later I received one bottle of the product and a week after that I received two more. I wrote a letter expressing my disgust with their business ethics and etiquette and asked for my refund. This was 3 weeks ago. I've called numerous times and have once again, written numerous e-mails. They have no responded or made a refund.
I hope that if enough people get the word out that this company is fraudulent, unethical, and rude to it's customers they will be put out of business. It is a shame that honest consumers have to deal with internet scams, like LEAN LIFE PM.
