Lady of america rip me off.
I signed a 2 year contract for membership and my 2yrs. Ended in Dec. 2001. I was not notified that i will continued to be bill until i write a letter stating that i wish to cancel my membership. Verbal cancelation was not correct method. I was told that on the back of my contract was the cancelation policy after my 2 yrs was complete. So in the later part of Dec i mailed this letter of cancelation and in Jan i was charged for membership for that month. I thought that they recieved my letter late due to the holidays and from the anthax scares around the post offices in the U.S. To my suprise it was never recieced and was billed again for Feb membership. Finally i emailed my request and they told me that i did not have prove of my first letter that i still owe for Jan and Feb membership. I refuse to pay this amount! In keeping good faith they should honor my first request that went out in Dec. And change their policies about membership cancelation also policies on notifing their members when their membership is going to end. Can you remember small details on things such as this 2 years ago? I can't!!!
