A warning to all who consider the lady of america fitness centers, read the fine print of your contract.
In january i signed up for a membership and was told it was a two year committment.
At no time was i informed that the company would continue my membership if i did not write a letter to cancel i even asked the mananger who sold me my contract about the termination of my contract.
She never once informed me that i had to write a letter to cancel my membership. Her response was that i was only obligated for the two year term.
Imagine my surprise when i audited my accounts and found that i was paying the loa for a service i no longer needed nor used.
The worst part is i convinced three of my friends to join as well.
I am sure when i call them they too will have no idea of the true contract terms. Then try and reach someone who will talk to you about the contract.
After a few phone calls and an email address that leads to nowhere i have attempted to cancel my membership.
Buyers beware!!!
