Please be advised that I would like to file a formal complaint for the unprofessional conduct and fradulent activities of the above mentioned doctor practicing in duncanville, Tx. DBA Wheatland Creek Family Dental, 410 W. Wheatland Rd.
The services rendered by Dr. Lamond were very poor and consistently presented problems. The problems began with the visitation for removal of teeth 12,14, and 15. The doctor advised that he could crown two (#12 and 14) of the three teeth, but removed the third (#15) surgically, because it had broken. After the crowning of teeth 12 and 14, a portion of the crown fell off of tooth 14 requiring additional work.
I've had severe sensitivity with my teeth, including bleeding gums. One incident in particular is after the removal of some sutures. I've advised the doctor of these problems, and feel there was a lack of interest or concern for me. Dr. Lamond has turned his attention to placing in the upper dentures that I also need delivery to me. The dentures were never fitted correctly and had to be returned to the lab, only for further delay.
The procedures for the permanent crowns and dentures still have not been performed; the process begin in December. Dr. Lamond has not only billed my insurance company (Aetna), but has also received payments from them as well as myself.
I have informed the doctor of my frustration and expressed an interest in seeing another doctor. He referred Dr. Larry Dunn on the 23th of March. According to Dr. Lamond's records, I owe him $1410.00, but according to my records and receipts my balance is a total of $241.87.
I have attempted to resolve this issue with Dr. Lamond, but to no avail, an agreement has not been met. I am in the process of having my insurance company investigate his practices and attempt to recuperate all monies paid on my behalf, so that I may seek services from another provider.
