Ripoff the disabled and those on fixed incomes without a care

I ordered a trial bottle of a product called Ultralife PM to be used for weight loss. As soon as I tried the product I discovered I couldn't take it without it making me sick to my stomache. I sent an e-mail to the company telling them to cancel my auto shipment program but never heard from them.

I then was billed on my checking account for $44.90 for a bottle of pills I never received. This not only happened once but twice, causing my checking account to be overdrawn. I am on disability and live on a fixed income. I also was charged $17.43 for each check that bounced adding up to $96.

I then tried repeatedly to call this company but only to get voice mails. I then kept calling for several hours before I finally got through to a human being. After speaking to this man he assured me that the problem was being taken care of and it would not happen again.

I received the first refund of $44.90 but was still out the charges for bounced checks. I believed him when he told me it wouldn't happen anymore but to my surprise the next month it happened again.

I called again like the first time except this time I entered every mailbox number I could think of and left messages for them to call me AsAP. No one called. I finally got through to a person after several hours of calling again. Again I am assured by him that the matter is taken care of and a refund is supposed to be credited to my account. But he wouldn't pay for the return check charge. So again I am out $17.43.

After checking my account online I discovered another charge of $24 from the same company. I again called and spoke to a woman who told me they would not give me a refund on the $24. So I am out that money. She told me I didn't end my account with them online and I told her I certainly did. Then she told me I must have not done it right. I told her I followed the instructions exactly the way the first man told me to do it. But she just kept saying I must have done something wrong. I told her that this better be the end of the deductions from my checking account or I would be contacting an attorney.
