I had a scheduled surgery in place with my physician. Several days prior to the surgery (4 to be exact) I dropped off my prescriptions to pick up the day before my surgery. One of the prescriptions Percocet for pain. After picking up the prescription and taking it after my arrival home, I discovered it was NOT ther Percocet! Keep in mind, I PAID CASH FOR MY SCRIPTS SO AS NOT TO HAVE TO ARGUE WITH AN INSURANCE COMPANY ETC. I called the pharmacy, store 7841 and spoke to pharmacist Khan. She informed me they had substituted my script for roxicet? I immediately ask who authorized it and she said SHE HAD? Had she spoken to my doctor? NO!!! Obviously I was mistaken when she had stated she was a physician and NOT a doctor??? Did I hear that correctly? The medication she had AUTHORIZED had given me an ALLERGIC REACTION, AND I HAD RED BUMPS AND ITCHY THE ENITRE NIGHT!!! Compounded with the pain! DIDN'T SHE MAKE A WONDERFUL DECISION? Did she call to let me know they would substitute it? NO... Did they ask me if i was allergic to any medications... No... Do you think I would've had a good law suit had I become extremely ill from her (the doctor) decision!!!
