I joined dietdivas in March. While I found the plan very workable, the "counselors" are a joke. They would be better characterized as sympathetic "Paula" pawns. Just like Paula, they omit information, don't answer at all or just outright lie about what they know or don't know.
Dietdivas (aka Paula) will fraudulently bill your credit card for services & fees, that she does not fulfill. When you ordered any of their "DietDiva" products, snacks, etc. They indicate that your shipping will be made within a matter of days. That is almost never true!
They bill your credit card immediately, and for the most part, take 30 days (OR GREATER) to ship your products. Often they will only send partial shipment, and make you wait another 30 days for the remainder of the shipment. Even then, when & if, they make shipment on the missing items, they independently decide to switch one product for another without your permission.
If you made the choice to pay for expedited shipment and pay anywhere from $4.00 to $10.00 more for shipping, they send your shipment by regular process, and keep the additional monies you paid them, while ignoring any requests for refunds or credits. All shipping problems were always excused as the company was "revamping the shipping department". Others can testify that the shipping department has been revamping for over two (2) years!
I was "banned", "suspended" or "terminated" for reading an email address off of dietdivas and posting that same address to another site on the internet. My suspension notice, that I finally received, after two months, stated that I was "banned", "suspended", "terminated" from the whole plan, the boards, the counselors, the services in every way, not just from posting on the boards! What happened to my Lifetime Membership? I'm still alive yet my Lifetime Membership is gone!
Every time dietdivas (aka Paula) felt that the complaints & unhappiness with administration were getting too big, they deleted the chat boards "accidentally", without any backup.
Give me a break! These boards were periodically waxed on an ongoing basis, during the three (3) months I lasted. Each time the boards were "cleared", the excuse was new & different, but ultimately the same result.
The "Terms of Service" was visable when I signed up, but it was no longer accessible after my sign up. Then when I pressed the fact, Paula made the Terms of Service accessible again. Other persons who have experience with dietdivas will readily back me up on the fact that although the Terms of Service stated the rules could be changed while giving 30 days notice to the participants, no notice was ever received by anyone known to have used the dietdivas site. Yet, everyone will tell you that they changed the rules everytime someone stepped on Paula's toes. We usually found out when someone disappeared from the boards, that the person had been suspended, terminated or banned due to a new rule that only came about ONLY after the infraction.
Looks like Paula has finally met her match, and gone down the drain, like a lot of other controlling, manipulative bitches! While the formally "banned", "suspended" & "terminated" still congregate in different bug locations on the internet. JILLY was completely honest in her summation of dietdivas (aka Paula Altare). Don't let it BUG you! COMe and find us!
